Internationally renowned Dr Stanley Paris gave a speech at the conference dinner on 5 April 2013 for the PhysioForward Conference hosted by the School of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago in Dunedin. "We went into physiotherapy to care for others. We did not choose to use medicine, knives or drills, but rather hands and empathy," Stan asserted.
