The Public Relations Committee requested help from branches to produce leaflets in April 1989. The appropriate SIGs have had considerable input into these, with some help from branches to produce leaflets in April 1989, with the print and style of future PR brochures being standardised in December 1989. Since March 1990 the black with red and white with the use of stylised Jack & Jill images has been retained, as the use of multicoloured pictures would increase costs. The suggestion was made in May 1996 that pamphlets could be produced in Maori, the Ministry of Health were contacted about funding for this.
